1. About IPShift
IPShift is a Windows desktop utility for saving and switching network adapter configurations. It is designed for IT professionals, technicians, developers, engineers and others who work across multiple networks.
2. Purchasing IPShift
Purchases are processed through Lemon Squeezy. Both available licences are one-time purchases, with no subscription: standard IPShift costs £2.99 and allows up to 2 device activations; IPShift Team costs £12.99 and allows up to 10 device activations. You purchase a licence to use IPShift, not ownership of the software or its source code. The price and order details shown at checkout apply to your purchase.
3. Licence grant
Purchasing IPShift grants the customer a limited, non-exclusive licence to install and use the software in accordance with the licence purchased and these terms.
Standard IPShift licence: May be activated on up to 2 devices. It is suitable for individuals, technicians, engineers, IT professionals or businesses that need IPShift on one or two Windows PCs.
IPShift Team licence: May be activated on up to 10 devices. It is intended for the purchasing business, team or organisation across its permitted device activations. It does not permit public redistribution, resale of the licence key or use beyond the purchased activation allowance.
Both licences use the same IPShift application. Their main difference is the permitted number of device activations.
4. Licence activation
Both standard and Team licences use Lemon Squeezy for validation. Initial activation requires an internet connection. Validation may check licence validity, product or licence type, activation count, installation or device instance, and licence status. It does not need the contents of your network profiles for this check.
5. Moving to another computer
If the activation limit for your licence has been reached, an existing installation may need to be deactivated before IPShift can be activated on another device. Contact support if you cannot access a previous installation. Device transfers remain subject to the licence system and these terms.
6. Licence key security
Each purchase receives a licence key through Lemon Squeezy. A standard IPShift key supports up to 2 device activations; an IPShift Team key supports up to 10 device activations. The key is subject to the activation limit of the licence purchased.
Keep your licence key reasonably secure. Do not publish it, share it online, resell it without permission or distribute it outside the permitted use of your licence. A licence may be suspended or revoked where there is clear evidence of fraud, abuse or unauthorised distribution.
7. Downloads and updates
The purchase and download service provides access to the software after purchase. IPShift may receive bug fixes, improvements and new versions over time. The availability and terms of future major upgrades may change; this purchase does not promise lifetime updates or support.
8. Refunds
Purchases and refunds are processed through Lemon Squeezy, subject to its checkout terms and applicable consumer law. Rights for digital content may depend on the circumstances, including whether downloading or activation has begun. If you have a purchase or software problem, contact support using the details below; your statutory rights are not affected.
9. Acceptable use
Use IPShift only on devices and networks you are authorised to manage. Do not use it for unlawful access or interference, circumvent its licence controls, or reverse engineer or redistribute it except where applicable law expressly permits. You are responsible for having permission to change network configurations.
10. Network configuration responsibility
IPShift changes Windows network adapter settings when you ask it to. Incorrect settings can disconnect a computer, prevent access to resources, cause temporary connectivity issues or create address conflicts. Check that each profile is suitable for the network before applying it.
11. Connectivity
IPShift simplifies applying settings, but cannot guarantee that a device is reachable, a network is correctly configured, third-party hardware or software works, or a particular IP configuration suits your network.
12. Availability and compatibility
IPShift is designed for supported versions of Microsoft Windows. Compatibility may be affected by Windows updates, drivers, network adapters, security software and other applications. Availability of downloads or licence services may depend on third-party services.
13. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded, or your statutory rights. To the extent permitted by applicable law, IPShift is not responsible for indirect or consequential losses caused by incorrect network configuration, misuse, unauthorised changes or circumstances outside the software's reasonable control.
14. Intellectual property
IPShift, its application, website, branding and documentation remain the intellectual property of their respective owners. Buying a licence does not transfer ownership of the software or source code.
15. Third-party services
Purchasing, downloading and licensing use services including Lemon Squeezy. These services may have their own terms and privacy policy.
16. Termination
A licence may be suspended or terminated for a substantial breach of these terms, fraud or deliberate circumvention of licence restrictions. Any action should be proportionate to the issue and does not remove rights you have under applicable law.
17. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated occasionally. Material changes will not retrospectively remove rights protected by applicable law. The current version is available at ipshift.online/terms, with its update date shown above.
