1. Information collected through the website
The website does not ask you for personal information just to read about IPShift. If you contact support, request help with a licence, make a purchase or otherwise communicate with IPShift, the information you provide may include your name, email address, purchase details and support correspondence. We use it for the relevant purchase, licensing or support purpose.
2. Payments and purchases
Payments are processed by Lemon Squeezy. IPShift does not directly receive or store your full payment card details. Lemon Squeezy may process information needed to complete payment, calculate taxes, prevent fraud, issue receipts, deliver the software and generate or manage licences. 3. Software licensing
IPShift uses Lemon Squeezy's licensing service. Activation or validation may send the information needed to manage your licence, such as the licence key, product and licence status, activation details and, where required, an installation or device identifier. This supports licence checks, the two-device activation limit, installation activation or deactivation, and prevention of licence abuse. Licence validation does not require you to submit the contents of your saved network profiles.
4. Your network profiles
Profiles can contain IP addresses, subnet masks, gateways, DNS settings, device information, names and notes that you choose to enter. IPShift works with a profile file on your computer or a shared file location you choose to use. If you choose shared storage, its access and handling also depend on that location and its provider. The website does not receive these profile contents simply because you visit it or buy a licence.
5. Support communications
When you contact support, the information you send is used to investigate and respond to your request. Please avoid sending passwords, authentication credentials, private keys, sensitive customer network credentials or a full licence key unless specifically requested through an appropriate support process.
7. Third-party services
Lemon Squeezy handles checkout, payment processing, software delivery and licence management. The website hosting platform delivers the IPShift website and may process technical information required to operate it. Those providers have their own privacy practices.
8. Data retention
Personal information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for customer support, purchase and accounting records, licence administration, fraud prevention or applicable legal requirements. Retention may differ by purpose and by third-party provider.
9. Your data rights
Depending on applicable data protection law, you may be able to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, and exercise other rights where applicable. Some records may need to be kept for legal or accounting reasons.
